Atmosphere High School group is for young people in grades 9-12. Our desire is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this generation. We are committed to letting young men and women know that God created them with a unique purpose in mind. To let them know that even when the circumstances that surround many of them do not change, God's desire is to change them, from the inside out. We want to shape students who are not ashamed to make a stand for Christ, no matter where it may be. We want them to know and understand that life is a gift from God and it's all about being an example of God's love and allowing Him to equip them with what they need to live a life that honors Him.
Wednesday Nights -
Every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. High School students from all over Bakersfield gather to enter into God's presence through incredible worship, a friendly environment and exciting teaching. Join us at the Thirst Service for an evening of powerful worship and praise, awesome mulit-media presentations, dramas and human videos and inspiring teaching applicable to your life through God's word. Then hangout before and after at our Cafe for awesome grub.
Sunday School -
God is calling this generation to be extreme in their faith. In the High School Sunday School class, Xtream, we dive into the Word of God, break it down verse by verse, and discuss what the Lord is speaking to our hearts. We also tackle relevant issues that will help us become who God has called us to be in our lives, homes, and on our High School campuses. Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am in EW4.
