Kinship Senior Adult Ministries provides an avenue for Christian fellowship, food, fun, and a ministry base for various ministries within and outside of Canyon HiIls. Our Seniors provide financial support for various youth ministries, regularly go into convalescent homes to sing and worship with residents, and provide a Christmas luncheon every year for individuals who have no family and would otherwise celebrate Christmas alone.
Many participate in weekly Bible studies led by Jim Ward. An evangelistic outreach called Heart Fellowship is hosted weekly in the two story building of Florence Gardens. A Senior Adult led Vespers Service is held every Sunday night for praise and worship. In addition, twice a month many seniors gather together in the clubhouse to watch old Gaither videos to worship and sing along with some of their favorite songs.
Opportunities are provided for small group activities in playing games together, practicing with the Silvertones Choir, and by taking road trips. Betty Wells routinely schedules bus trips to various places of interest including a cruise. With the Kinship Senior Adult Ministry you can be sure that there is always time for fellowship, laughter, and food!

-Game Nights (twice a week at the Clubhouse)
-Bible Studay (every Friday morning)
-Prayer and Share (Sunday nights)
-Intercessory Prayer Gathering (weekly)
-Silvertones Choir (weekly)
-Crafts
-Potlucks
-Men's Breakfast (food cooked by Senior Adult Men)
-Dinner Out (monthy gathering at an "all you can eat" restaurant)
