Women's Bible Study

Each year from September until June we offer ladies the opportunity to come together for a time of Bible Study. The topics vary and are geared to last 6 to 8 weeks at a time. We use prepared materials and workbooks which guide women through short home studies during the week.

Bible Study meets on Thursday mornings at 9:15 am at The Summit. Childcare is provided for this session. We also have an evening session on Tuesday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 pm that meets in CE#3.

Heart to Heart Women's Counseling

Canyon Hills Women's Ministries offers short term counseling for women who are looking for spiritual guidance and direction from God's Word. Mentoring relationships are also available. If you would like more information or to schedule an appointment, please call the church office at 871-1150. You will be connected with a trained counselor or mentor who will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Project Hope

Each year women from the Assemblies of God churches throughout Southern California raise money for Project Hope, an outreach to help women and children in a different location each year. This year 7,000 young girls and their families will be coerced to cross the boarder from Nepal to India in hopes of education, job opportunities and a better life, but will find themselves in the horrifying life of sex slavery and brothels. This year we will partner with Clark and Jennifer Jensen and Global Family Care Network as together we focus on human trafficking and their continued work of rescue, intervention, long term care and awareness education. Together, we can help bring girls from hopelessness to freedom.

Women with a Mission

Women with a Mission is a Tuesday Bible study that provides ladies with an opportunity to meet for prayer, fellowship, and crafting. Everything that is made is sold in boutiques that they hold during the year, and ALL proceeds go to support our missionaries. This group of women actively support Teen Challenge, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, as well as missionaries that serve in countries around the world. This ministry is open to all ladies and meets year-round. Join us on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am in FMC#3.

God's Beauties

God's Beauties is a ministry that reaches out to battered and abused women and their children. It is a support ministry to enable these women to excel in life and gain back their self esteem with the Lord's strength. Among Friends

Among Friends is a book written by 12 ladies who attend Canyon Hills Assembly of God. Each lady wrote devotions to cover one month, so the book covers the entire year, with a devotion for each day. Most of what the ladies shared in this book was taken from their personal prayer journals. They have shared from their hearts things the Holy Spirit has done in their lives, including recollections of challenges and breakthroughs. The book was published by Canyon Hills Women's Ministries, and all proceeds from the book are being poured back into ministry. Among Friends is sure to inspire you in your daily walk with Christ!

Women's Ministries also provide Among Friends News, which is a bi-monthly newsletter that is available at the Adult Ministries table in the lobby. This newsletter informs ladies of upcoming events in the Women's Ministry, provides a devotional, and an encouraging word from Cynthia Giumarra, the Director of the Women's Ministries team.
