Upper Room is a vitalizing young adult church that reflects the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. It is founded on the inspired Word of God and committed to truth. It is a dynamic, awe-inspiring, mind-blowing movement of God. Sunday nights are inviting, exciting, and life-changing. Our Sunday evening services are a relaxed atmosphere where you can come just as you are. We meet every Sunday night at 7:30 pm in the at Canyon Hills. We hope to see you there!
Small Groups -
Small groups at Upper Room are the perfect place to connect with others and God at the same time. Groups consist of 8 to 12 people who are committed to each other and to the common goal of growth in Christ. Groups meet at different times through the year in homes throughout Bakersfield. Small group life in Upper Room incorporates a variety of experiences, including relationship building, prayer, study, and service. The result of these experiences is far more than learned truths and friendships made. It's total life development!
