Did you know?
-U.S. human trafficking victims are estimated in the hundreds of thousands
-There are over 40 million human trafficking victims globally
-99% of cases go undetected
U.S. Law defines Human Trafficking as the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person into commercial sex acts or labor or services against his or her will. The one exception involves minors and commercial sex. Inducing a minor into commercial sex is considered Human Trafficking regardless of the presence of force, fraud, or coercion.
How can you make a difference?
We are passionate about seeing victims of human trafficking set free. Throughout the year, we hold several events designed to raise funds and awareness in our community to free captives locally, nationally and globally including our annual Red Bucket Day.
Red Bucket Day is a community-wide, drive-by donation event. We partner with local businesses and strategically station volunteers at various locations throughout the city to receive donations. We have seen great success with the Red Buck Days and are encouraged by the amount of support from our community.
Next Red Bucket Day is coming Spring of 2023!
