We believe prayer changes things because we’ve seen the incredible miracles that have come out of persistent prayers. God’s Word says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Canyon Hills Prayer Ministry equips people to grow in their prayer life and develop their own prayer language with the Lord so they can experience God's restoration power.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

FIRST WEDNESDAY PRAYER

It's our once-a-month, all-church family prayer gathering. First Wednesday is a powerful service with intimate worship, baptisms, and corporate prayer. Every month, we come together and intercede for our brothers and sisters in Christ, our city, our state and our nation. First Wednesday is capped off with a fun party on the patio with food trucks, church merch, music, and more! We can't wait to see you there. 

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER

This group meets every Tuesday morning at 6AM at the Summit to pray for our church, city, state and nation. We are building a community of people to pray because we believe prayer changes things!

ENCOUNTER NIGHTS

Encounter Nights create space to seek God together in an extended time of prayer and worship. Each season, they take place weekly, on Thursday evenings, at 7PM in homes across our city. You will learn new ways to hear God’s voice while embracing genuine fellowship with one another.

The prayer tower is positioned as one of the highest points in Bakersfield and from this location, you can overlook our city as you pray. Request access through the button below or by calling the front office at 661.871.1150.

WEEK OF PRAYER

Week of Prayer is a sacred time when we come together during the first week of the new year and spend time in prayer. Each day, we gather before dawn and unite in corporate prayer, proclaim Scripture over our brothers and sisters in Christ, and petition the needs of our community, city and state leaders, and our world.
