THANKSGIVING OUTREACH

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD

As Thanksgiving approaches, we have a wonderful opportunity to come together and bless those in need in our community. We invite you to join us for our Thanksgiving Outreach, where we will be delivering Thanksgiving meals to families who may not be able to have a Thanksgiving dinner due to various hardships. We'll be delivering the dinners on Sunday, November 23rd, and you can help by donating specific food items, making a monetary donation to purchase needed supplies, or volunteering to deliver a meal to families in our community! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD IN FORT FAITH

You can be a part of sharing the love of Jesus Christ this Christmas! Operation Christmas Child makes it easy to include your kids in sharing the Gospel with children who may never hear the name Jesus! It's simple: fill a shoebox with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, and help share the love of Jesus with kids around the world. Each box opens the door for a child to hear the Gospel and join a 12-week discipleship program. You can pick up a shoebox in Fort Faith and return it by Sunday, November 23rd. Let’s make a difference together!

We believe prayer changes things! Colossians 4:2 says, “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Join us Tuesday mornings at 6AM at the Summit, as we come before the Lord and petition the needs of our nation, state, city and our church.

Being a mom is a beautiful adventure—filled with joy, love, and growth. That’s why we’re gathering a community of moms who want to encourage each other, grow together, and be inspired to raise their kids to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. At Canyon Moms, you'll be encouraged by the truth of Scripture and by other moms in the same season of life. This Meet-Up is designed for moms with young children, ages 0 through 5th grade, and childcare is available.

Students, get ready for an unforgettable experience at Youth Convention! This life-changing event is packed with dynamic speakers, powerful worship, incredible experiences, and lasting memories. Uprising students will be heading to San Diego to join over 2,000 teens from across California for a powerful encounter with Jesus. CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29TH AT 5:30PM AT CENTENNIAL PLAZA

We’re thrilled to partner with The City of Bakersfield and Mayor Goh for the 9th Annual Tree Lighting ceremony at Centennial Plaza at Dignity Health Arena on Saturday, November 29th. You’re invited to join Canyon Hills family for a great night of song, a live nativity, Santa and more! Mayor Goh will flip the switch as soon as Santa arrives, so make sure you plan to arrive early and get a spot! The fun starts at 5:30PM!

Gather your girlfriends for one of the sweetest nights of the season! The Christmas Dessert is a beautiful evening filled with laughter, friendship, and festive joy. You’ll dine around stunning tablescapes, enjoy decadent desserts, and soak in the cozy ambiance of Christmas.  We need table hostesses to make this night great! Being a hostess is easy and fun; simply decorate a table, bring a dessert to share, and welcome guests with a friendly smile!
